Jeanie was appointed as a manager at BDO (Johannesburg) Inc in 2005. Jeanie qualified as a CA (SA) in 2003 at KPMG Inc where she completed her three year training contract. While at KPMG her client portfolio consisted of large listed groups which were mainly in the energy and natural resources sector. In 2004 Jeanie accepted a position as senior accountant at Sasol Solvents and O&S, a subsidiary of the Sasol Limited for 17 months. Jeanie was responsible for preparing monthly financial results. In 2006/2007 Jeanie went on a six-month secondment to BDO Seidman in New York, USA.

Jeanie was appointed as a director in January 2008. She has experience in construction, manufacturing and credit services industries. Her clients range from mid-sized private entities to listed entities

In her spare time she enjoys reading, art house movies, travelling and is a qualified open water one scuba diver.
