Two Day Programme

The need to understand the fundamentals of finance and financial management and to be able to interpret financial statements is vital for any manager in business. This knowledge will assist managers in interpreting financial statements and financial reports, and in playing a role in the strategy and performance of their businesses.

Who should attend?

The course is aimed at owner managers and managers or administrators, who have limited financial /accounting background but who, as they rise up in their businesses, are increasingly expected to prepare and manage budgets and forecasts and to contribute at management meetings to the discussions around operating results. Course Presenter-Tim Fearnhead

Tim Fearnhead is a Chartered Accountant and a former partner at Deloitte for 21 years. He joined Nedbank in 1997 where he held a number of senior financial positions in the Bank and completed a Higher Diploma in Banking Law in 2002. He is now a Consultant with BDO Spencer Steward Financial Services (Gauteng) Pty Ltd, which is an alliance training partner of The SA Institute of Chartered Accountants. Tim has a passion for teaching and developing people and has extensive experience is these fields
