Experience

Dumisa is a seasoned expatriate tax and employment specialist. Dumisa joined BDO in 2020. Dumisa was an Associate Director for Deloitte Global Employer in the Africa Tax and Legal employment tax team.

He focuses on assisting multinationals with their employer obligations, not only in South Africa but the rest of the continent. He also advises on the best structuring and reward methodology for the different types of short – and long-term secondment agreements. He is involved in performing health checks and due diligence during mergers and acquisitions from an employment taxes perspective.

Dumisa also spent time in Deloitte UK Analytics team where he was involved in the development implementation of a short-term business traveler tax tracking technology tool.
