Gillian Bass

Experience

Gillian Bass is responsible for the management of a number of the Durban office’s major clients covering a wide range of industries and includes listed entities. Gillian is also registered as a SAICA assessor and oversees the assessment process for our trainee accountants.

Gillian completed her traineeship with Grant Thornton in January 2008. Since then, Gillian moved up the ranks from being an Assistant Audit Manager, Manager, Senior Audit Manager and director since September 2018.

Gillian completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2004. She obtained her Bachelor of Honours in Accounting (CTA) in 2008 at Unisa. Subsequently Gillian has passed the Qualifying examination in 2010 and the Public Practise Examination in 2011.

Sector experience in Manufacturing, Property, Retail and the Service industry.
