Hillary Plaatjies, Director


Hillary is an admitted attorney specialising in restructuring and insolvency law. She has substantial and broad-ranging experience in various aspects of liquidations, sequestrations and business rescue. She has taken appointments as curator bonis by the Asset Forfeiture Unit of the National Prosecuting Authority under the Proceeds of Organized Crime Act. Her extensive experience in the legal field includes the administration of insolvent estates, deceased estates, trusts, curatorships, corporate recoveries, forensic investigations, due diligence and restructuring of businesses.

She also serves as the chairperson on the Western Cape Provincial Council of SARIPA, and has been on the Panel of the Master of the High Court since 2002

She is registered with CIPC as a business rescue practitioner, having dealt with a scheme of arrangements and business restructuring in various sectors e.g. construction, clothing manufacturing and agriculture.
