Khaya's previous role was CIO of a major facilities management concern, while leading the digital transformation agenda for this multinational. Through his extensive experience, he has built a solid track record in transforming enterprises using digital technologies for optimum business value. His participative approach, technical competency and leadership skills enables him to successfully turn strategy to value. He has 22 years in IT leadership, program and project management, the last 16 of these managing challenging engagements in and outside of South Africa, including the below:

• Headed up the digital transformation agenda for a multi-national facilities management company, focusing on industrial technological solutions, changing the way of work for the enterprise by taking advantage of digital technology. Annual technology budget being managed is R92m
• Led a digital transformation program at a global beer organisation, that uses Intelligent Automation technologies to re-imagine the People/HR function. Program is budgeted at R13m, with cross geography resources
• Setup and grew 3 major accounts with confirmed sales of R78m for FY2019, delivered revenue of R66m with a team of 52 developers, scrum masters, disruptive technology leads, managers and senior managers.
• Led the establishment of an RPA Centre of Excellence at a global mining entity, setting the structure and governance to initiate and grow the RPA/Automation capability

Khaya has consulted extensively in South Africa, Mauritius, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya, Zambia, Egypt, Zimbabwe and India.
