Experience

I have over 16 years of large audit firm external audit experience across multiple industries. I have served in risk and quality roles for the majority of this time, my expertise being assurance technical support. I have a passion for playing my part in enabling auditors to perform high quality audits which add value to the stakeholders in the financial reporting value chain. My career has included detailed involvement in the standard setting activities of the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors of South Africa, including serving as Technical Advisor on the Committee for Auditing Standards (CFAS), and serving as the Chairman of the Regulated Industries Reports Standing Committee of the CFAS.
