We want to help remove some of the burden from your family as you grieve by managing the administrative aspects of winding up your loved one’s estate. We have experienced executors who understand all aspects of the estate administration process and who can oversee the finalising of a deceased estate. Our services include:
- Liaising with the Master of the High Court
- Preparing all the necessary legal and financial documents
- Engaging with all debtors and creditors of the estate
- Interacting with SARS on tax compliance requirements
- Registering a testamentary trust, if it’s needed
- Liquidating or transferring investments and property to heirs
- Distributing the estate in terms of the will, including paying inheritances
We also act as an agent to the executor. This means that if your loved one has appointed you as their executor, you still have oversight and control of the administration of the estate, but we help you with the day-to-day administrative tasks and your consultant is available to advise you on any matters relating to the estate.
