BDO ETHICAL VALUES AND ATTITUDES COMPETENCY TRAINING
SAICA recently announced that in the light of the current ethical landscape that we operate in and the risk of reputational damage that further financial scandals can result in, SAICA regards “Ethical values and attitudes” as a core competence that all members and associates ought to demonstrate on a daily basis.
As ethics is the cornerstone of any professional, SAICA has issued a circular which sets out the compulsory CPD requirements as having to reflect on ones ethics competence in relation to the learning outcomes of the ethical competencies (personal, business and professional). Members are further reminded that if required, learning and development activities should be undertaken to maintain and further develop your understanding (and demonstration) of these ethical competencies.
As a Firm that prides itself on Clarity – which encompasses always doing the right thing and being ethical, independent, and quality driven – we would like to invite SAICA members and associates that require ethical competence in the areas of Business, Professional and Personal Ethics to join BDO and Ethics Monitoring & Management Services for a series of Ethics Training Sessions.
To meet the requirements of SAICA, we will hold six sessions, two per topic, on Business Ethics, Professional Ethics and Personal Ethics (the second session will be a repeat of the first so only attend one per topic).
An attendance certificate will be issued for each session that is attended in full (it will be necessary to only attend one session per topic) for you to use toward your Ethical Competency for SAICA.
The cost is R500 for all three sessions.
