Jaco is the Financial Services Regional Managing Partner at BDO South Africa with more than 35 years of professional experience serving clients across the financial services sector. He has extensive expertise in external audit, assurance, governance, risk management, and the leadership of large, complex financial services engagements.

Throughout his career, Jaco has served as Engagement Partner and lead audit advisor to a broad range of banking, asset management, private equity, investment management, and insurance clients. His experience includes leading audits and providing assurance services to prominent financial institutions across South Africa and the broader Southern African region.
