Asitandile is a Senior Manager within BDO’s Financial Services division with more than 7 years’ experience in financial services, with exposure to medical schemes, private equity, investment management, and lending environments He has experience across asset-backed lending, micro-lending, corporate banking, asset management, and insurance, including IFRS 9 ECL assessments. His work includes close collaboration with credit quantitative and technology specialist teams in reviewing ECL models, data inputs, and credit risk frameworks.

Asitandile is a member of BDO’s Specialised Valuation & Credit Group (SVCG), focusing on treasury, credit, and business process reviews and risk advisory. SVCG serves as BDO South Africa’s centre of excellence for financial instrument fair valuation, hedge accounting, treasury advisory, and credit risk modelling, supporting multiple BDO offices globally in these specialist areas.
