BDO in the Palestinian territories

15 July 2015

BDO is pleased to announce the appointment of a new memberfirm in the Palestinian territories. Formerly Harvard for Accounting, Auditing & Tax Services, the new BDO firm will be known as BDO Accounting, Audit & Tax Services. Established in 2009, the firm is based in Ramallah and focuses on delivering audit & accounting, tax, advisory and corporate finance services – to banks and international NGOs, in particular.

With 3 partners and 6 staff members, the firm's revenues are increasing at approximately 70% per annum, which shows remarkable growth. Managing partner Nabeel Mahmoud Zeidan is convinced that, under the BDO brand, this growth can only accelerate.

"We are proud of the quality of the services we deliver, which is acknowledged to be among the best in our market", he says. "BDO's vision, to be the leader for exceptional client service, is therefore second nature to us.

"It is our knowledge and experience that makes our firm stand out from the competition and, in joining the BDO network, our access to significant and relevant expertise worldwide will increase exponentially. This will be to the benefit of our clients, and ensure our continued growth trajectory at the same time".

Anders Heede, BDO's CEO of the EMEA region, adds "I am very much looking forward to working with our new firm and I would like to congratulate all 3 partners: Nabeel Mahmoud Zeidan, Mohammad Mahmoud Zeidan and Nader Mahmoud Zeidan. They have the vision and the ability to succeed in a relatively under-developed market and I'm certain that their collaboration with BDO Member Firms across the world will be mutually beneficial".
