Isn’t it Time to Get Back in the Drivers Seat of your Business?

BDODrive, a new offering from BDO, saves business owners’ time to allow them to focus on what matters most – moving their business forward by driving greater profitability through access to important financial information.

In a world driven by technology and information, BDODrive helps small businesses, entrepreneurs, trusts and individuals simplify important financial information and provide uncomplicated practical advice.

BDODrive was born out of a need that the Head of BDODrive and Partner at BDO SA, Hayley Newton-Holroyd, identified after being an auditor for over 20 years.

“I could see my small and medium-sized clients battling to manage their financial information and then further struggling to understand what these numbers meant to their business and what changes they could or should be making. Compounded by the fact that they didn’t have the resources nor the budget to get insights (such as Tax and Advisory), and if they did have the budget, they would have to deal with several people. Thus, giving them less oversight of business activities while struggling to manage administrative functions,” said Newton-Holroyd.

“I wanted our clients to save money, presenting them with one point of contact to give them the insight they needed while using technology to give them real-time access to their financial information for quick decision making. Essentially, I wanted to manage the engine of their business so they could get back into the driver’s seat and take the business forward,” she added.

“We free up business owners’ time to allow them to focus on what matters most – moving their business forward by driving greater profitability through access to important financial information,” says Newton-Holroyd.

BDODrive gives businesses access to their accounting data in real-time on desktops and mobile devices to allow them to make quick decisions using cloud-based technology and apps such as Xero™ and Receipt Bank. In fact, business owners will be able to invoice their customers and do their bank reconciliations from their mobile devices whether they are in bed or on holiday.

Newton-Holroyd explains that BDODrive’s aim is to get to know a client’s business and to understand what is important to the business so they can help the business owner make better decisions for the growth of their business. Ultimately, BDODrive provides financial information that is relevant the business, without the jargon.

BDODrive doesn’t only provide the technology to deliver insights, it will also help harness the business’ best opportunities through a dedicated BDO professional.

“Thanks to our highly skilled staff, our various service line experts such as Tax, Cyber, Financial Planning, to name a few, plus the ease of use of our cloud technology providers we believe BDODrive will be a private client solution that all entrepreneurs can benefit from,” concluds Newton-Holroyd.
