Experience

Julie-Ann is an Associate Director at BDO Legal, specialising in corporate and commercial law. She joined BDO five years ago as National Legal Risk Officer and Legal Counsel within Risk Management, providing internal legal support and guidance on legal risk matters across the firm.

During her time at BDO, Julie-Ann has been involved in a range of key projects and functions, including supporting the firm’s ISO 27001 certification process, overseeing third-party risk management, and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

Her current role focuses on Alternative Legal Services (ALSP), with particular emphasis on Companies Act advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial legal matters. Prior to joining BDO, Julie-Ann practised as a litigation attorney, representing plaintiffs across various areas of law and gaining extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
