Experience

Justin has over 14 years’ experience in the audit industry, covering multiple sectors, including financial services, lending, asset management, private equity, retail, manufacturing, investing, export / import, legal, construction and engineering, pharmaceutical, franchise, food / restaurant, and the motor industry.

His strengths span several industries in both the listed and unlisted environment, group audits, listed audits and first listings on the JSE. Justin has experience on some larger lending groups such as Bayport and Xtenda, delivering the group audits. He also has experience in the asset management sector as well as the private equity sector. Justin also has experience in his early career across various "non - FS sectors", giving him the ability to understand and audit and review entities financial service sector clients are invested in / loan to / transact with.

Justin has significant experience auditing clients in the listed space, and well as significant experience acting as the group auditor. Justin is also the finance manager of the BDO FS business unit, giving him experience as a financial manager as well.
