Experience

Koeletji specialises in the application of IFRS Accounting Standards to clients in the financial services industry. 

Has more than 15 years of experience in the field, completed articles with Deloitte SA in 2010. 

After a 3-month secondment to Deloitte LLP, he rejoined Deloitte SA as an audit manager until 2013. 

He joined the SizweNtsalubaGobodo Inc in their IFRS Technical team as a senior manager in 2014 advising on IFRS matters for listed and non-listed clients.

He joined Anglo American Platinum Limited in 2017 and thereafter Barloworld Limited in 2019, was responsible for the preparation of the annual separate and consolidated financial statements, opinions on complex accounting matters, implementation of new IFRSs, IFRS training material and presentation thereof.

As a member of the Financial Reporting Investigation Panel (FRIP) since 2020, he gets involved in investigating cases of IFRS non-compliance.
