Kylene is an Associate Director at BDO Business Restructuring, specialising in business rescue, restructuring, and insolvency. With over a decade of experience, she has worked on some of South Africa’s largest and most complex business rescue and insolvency matters, establishing herself as a leading practitioner in the field.
Before joining BDO, Kylene practised as an attorney for 10 years, focusing on business rescue law, restructuring, insolvency, corporate recovery, and general commercial litigation. She previously served as a Director at prominent law firms, including Bowmans and Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, where she represented major corporate entities, banks, creditors, liquidators, trustees, and business rescue practitioners.

Kylene’s extensive expertise in business rescue and insolvency has earned her recognition as a top practitioner in the industry. She has been consistently ranked for her work, including:
