Lance transitions into the Chief Markets Officer (CMO) and is responsible for the development, implementation and review of the markets strategy for BDO South Africa (BDO SA). In doing so, he is required to provide oversight of current and future markets and to appropriately position BDO SA to the external market. He will provide strategic oversight and leadership to the markets function.

Lance’s role as Chief Markets Officer is to drive revenue growth and market share by developing and executing effective market strategies, analysing market trends, building, and managing relationships, developing pricing and revenue strategies, and managing market operations. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of market trends, customer behaviour and the competitive forces in the industry. Lance is well placed to lead this significant portfolio.

Lance will in parallel, continue to lead the Financial Services Sector.
