Marike Muller

Experience

Marike completed her LLB degree in 2008 and was admitted as an attorney in the High Court.  She specialised in litigation and commercial matters and later became a BEE specialist gaining extensive experience in BEE consulting.

In 2012 she was appointed as the analyst for BDO Verification Services (then Grant Thornton) in the Eastern Cape region and became the regional manager in 2014. She also completed her MDP that year and has been managing a team of analysts, sales and support staff since then.  Marike was also appointed as a technical signatory in 2014 and has been responsible for BEE certification on a national level.

Marike was appointed an Executive Director of BDO Verification Services in October 2018.

With her technical knowledge and strategic decision-making, she is considered one of the foremost experts in the industry.

With more than ten years’ experience in the industry, Marike has focused primarily on compliance in the private and public sector, including multi-national companies.  She has assisted clients in the following industry sectors: Automotive, Manufacturing, property, Construction, Tourism, and ICT.
