Melanie completed her articles with the BDO Port Elizabeth office (previously Grant Thornton Cape Incorporated) in January 2013. Melanie was promoted to Audit Manager after the completion of her articles and remained in a manager position up until February 2018 when Melanie was promoted to Associate Director. Melanie became a Partner on 1 April 2019.

Melanie is experienced in the gaming, retail, construction, manufacturing and tourism industries.
