Nato completed his articles with the BDO Cape Town office (previously Grant Thornton Cape Incorporated) in January 2013. Nato re-joined the Audit and Corporate Finance team of BDO in the Port Elizabeth office in May 2014.
Nato serves as advisor to mergers and acquisitions of companies in support of the Director. His business advisory skills include the development and preparations of Information Memorandums, Business Plans and Investment Analysis in for various companies in the manufacturing, property development, sport and recreation, professional services, health and hospital and retail sectors.
He has extensive experience in the development and audit robust and comprehensive financial model with various financing and equity scenarios including sensitivity analysis and investment opportunity analysis for projects in the following sectors:
- Renewable energy projects;
- Oil bunkering (land and sea based);
- Integrated IT and financial services;
- Property development;
- 2023 Rugby World Cup Bid model for SA Rugby; and
- Due diligence and audit of the development and compliance of robust financial models submitted in the REIPPPP.
Nato has extensive experience in valuation of companies. He has performed valuation on companies in the Renewable Energy, Construction, Manufacturing, Professional services, Health services and hospital, Investment holding, Fishing and Retail sectors.
Nato has extensive experience in the performance of due diligence work, including companies within the Pharmaceutical, Renewable Energy, Refining, Logistics, Retail, Manufacturing and Hotel and Leisure sectors.
