The fact that I emerged from that experience intact, with my finances still healthy, is testament to the plans that had been put in place. Peter was an insurance broker from 1986, running independent life, short term and employee benefits brokerage. He then transitioned into lifestyle financial planning in 1994, specialising in advising high net worth individuals. It was in 2014 that he then joined BDO as a financial planner.
