Tinus Jansen van Vuuren

Experience

Tinus joined BDO Alto Limited in Jersey (United Kingdom) for almost three years before returning to South Africa and joining the BDO office in Pretoria during 2010. He was appointed audit partner at the beginning of 2013 where he is applying his practical experience of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the JSE Listing requirements.

He is responsible for managing a wide variety of companies ranging from public traded companies on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange to smaller owner managed companies and is the technical partner in the BDO Pretoria branch and is part of the BDO national risk committee.

Other

Tinus is registered with the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors in South Africa (IRBA) as a registered auditor and registered with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange as an accredited registered auditor. In his spare time Tinus enjoys golf, scuba diving, travelling, share investments and socialising with family and friends.
