Experience

Yvonne Kgoedi is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and Registered Auditor with extensive experience in auditing, risk management, ethics, and quality management across both private and public sectors. She is a Director at BDO Inc’s Monitoring and Remediation team, supporting the Head of Monitoring and Remediation in designing and operating processes to evaluate and enhance the System of Quality Management (SoQM). Previously, Yvonne was Head of Risk Management at SNG Grant Thornton, where she established and led the division, advised on contentious matters, and liaised with regulators. She also served as Audit Technical Leader, overseeing methodology, tools, and compliance with professional standards. Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Inspector at the IRBA and held senior roles at COMSEC, Massmart Holdings, and KPMG. Yvonne has served on several professional committees, contributing to the advancement of audit quality and ethics in the profession.
